Slow Cooker Garlic Butter Beef Tips

A comforting and hearty recipe that combines tender beef tips with garlic and butter, perfect for any dinner gathering.

Ingredients

  • Beef Tips (2 lbs)
  • Garlic (4 cloves, minced)
  • Butter (1/2 cup)
  • Vegetables (e.g., 2 carrots, sliced; 1 onion, chopped)
  • Beef Broth (2 cups)
  • Herbs (2 sprigs of thyme, 1 sprig of rosemary)
  • Seasonings (Salt & Pepper to taste)

Instructions

  1. Prep the ingredients by chopping veggies and mincing garlic.
  2. Brown the beef in a skillet with melted butter over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side.
  3. Combine all ingredients in the slow cooker, including beef, garlic, butter, vegetables, broth, and herbs.
  4. Set the slow cooker on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4 hours.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning about 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Serve hot over mashed potatoes or rice, garnished with parsley.

Notes

For thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with water and add it to the slow cooker during the last 30 minutes.
