Banana Peach Bread

A delightful bread combining ripe bananas and juicy peaches, perfect for breakfast or as a sweet snack.

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup peach puree (or finely chopped peaches)
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan with butter or line it with parchment paper.
  3. Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth. Mix in the peach puree until well combined.
  4. Add melted butter into the banana and peach mixture, stirring well. Mix in the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until blended.
  5. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently.
  7. Pour your batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Slice and serve!

Notes

For added flavor, you can incorporate nuts or spices like cinnamon. Enjoy with a spread of butter or cream cheese.
