Slow Cooker Chicken Alfredo

A creamy and comforting slow cooker chicken Alfredo that’s perfect for busy weeknights.

  • 1 lb Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 jar Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups Fresh broccoli florets
  • 4 cloves Fresh minced garlic
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Italian herbs (dried basil, oregano, thyme)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Place chicken breasts at the bottom of your slow cooker. Season generously with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs. Optionally, add red pepper flakes.
  2. Add the Garlic: Sprinkle minced garlic over the chicken.
  3. Pour in the Alfredo Sauce: Cover the chicken and garlic with the Alfredo sauce.
  4. Add the Broccoli: Layer fresh broccoli on top of the sauce.
  5. Set and Forget: Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
  6. Shred the Chicken: Shred chicken in the slow cooker with two forks and stir to combine.
  7. Add Parmesan and Serve: Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and serve warm.

Notes

Searing the chicken before slow cooking can enhance flavor. Adjust seasoning according to personal taste.
