Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

A comforting slow cooker beef stroganoff that brings tender beef, earthy mushrooms, and a creamy sauce together for a heartwarming meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef (sirloin or stew meat)
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Egg noodles or rice (for serving)
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season your beef with salt and pepper.
  2. Add the sliced onions and mushrooms to the slow cooker.
  3. Place the seasoned beef on top of the onions and mushrooms.
  4. Sprinkle the minced garlic over the beef.
  5. Add the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.
  6. Set the slow cooker on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  7. Stir in the sour cream about 30 minutes before serving.
  8. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  9. Cook your egg noodles or rice according to package instructions.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
