The Ultimate Raclette Party

Experience the joy of a raclette party with melted cheese, delicious meats, and fresh vegetables, creating a delightful social gathering.

Ingredients

  • Raclette Cheese (or Gruyère/Provolone)
  • Boiled Potatoes (Yukon Gold or sweet potatoes)
  • Pickles (cornichons or dill pickles)
  • Charcuterie (salami, prosciutto, smoked meats or marinated tofu)
  • Vegetables (bell peppers, mushrooms, zucchini)
  • Bread (baguette or gluten-free)
  • Black Pepper
  • Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Boil your potatoes in salted water until fork-tender, about 20 minutes. Let them cool slightly and cut them in half. Keep them warm while you prep the rest.
  2. Slice your raclette cheese into large cubes or thick slices for melting.
  3. Wash and chop your veggies into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Arrange the boiled potatoes, sliced cheese, cured meats, veggies, and pickles on a large platter.
  5. Plug in your raclette grill and preheat according to instructions.
  6. Place generous slices of raclette cheese in the grill’s small pans and slide them underneath the heating element for about 5 to 8 minutes.
  7. Grill vegetables on the top side of the grill until they’re tender.
  8. Pour melted cheese over your warm potatoes or veggies.
  9. Add charcuterie, pickles, and a sprinkle of black pepper.
  10. Encourage guests to create their own plates and enjoy!

Notes

Serve with a light white wine or sparkling water with lemon for a refreshing touch.
