Classic Pear Crisp

A warm and gooey pear dessert topped with a crunchy golden crumble, perfect for any season.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups pears, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar, divided
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prep the pears by tossing them with half a cup of sugar and cinnamon. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  3. Make the topping by mixing the flour, oats, remaining sugar, and salt. Melt the butter and mix it in until crumbly.
  4. Assemble the pear mixture in a baking pan and top with the crumble.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
  6. Serve warm, ideally with ice cream or cream.
