P.F. Chang’s Ground Chicken Lettuce Wraps

Delicious and comforting ground chicken lettuce wraps filled with savory flavors and fresh veggies.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup diced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Butter lettuce leaves

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping onions, mushrooms, carrots, and green onions.
  2. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the diced onions and minced garlic, and sauté for about 2 minutes.
  4. Cook the ground chicken for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  5. Add in chopped mushrooms and shredded carrots, and stir for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Mix in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil, cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. Finish by folding in chopped green onions.
  8. Prepare butter lettuce leaves on a platter for filling.

Notes

Serve with additional hoisin sauce and peanuts for garnish. This dish can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the fridge.
