A delicious and comforting Peach Custard Pie that captures the essence of summer memories.

  • 4 Cups Fresh Peaches, Sliced
  • 3 Large Eggs
  • 1 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish.
  3. Slice your peaches into thin wedges and place them evenly in the pie crust.
  4. Make the custard mixture by whisking together the eggs, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, salt, and cornstarch until smooth.
  5. Pour the custard over the peaches, ensuring they are well-coated.
  6. Bake for about 45-50 minutes or until the custard is set and lightly golden.
  7. Cool the pie at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.
  8. Serve warm or chilled, optionally with vanilla ice cream.
