Peach Bread

A moist and sweet bread bursting with the essence of summer, topped with a delicious peach glaze.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup canned peaches, drained and chopped
  • 1/2 cup peach glaze (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×5-inch loaf pan by greasing it with vegetable oil.
  3. Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Mix the oil, eggs, and vanilla extract in another bowl until well combined.
  5. Merge the wet ingredients into the dry and stir gently until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chopped peaches.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for about 50-60 minutes.
  8. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  9. Optional: Add the glaze once cooled.

Notes

This bread freezes beautifully; just wrap slices tightly in plastic wrap.
