Orange Creamsicle Smoothie Bowl

A refreshing smoothie bowl capturing the nostalgic essence of creamy orange popsicles with bananas and a hint of vanilla.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 frozen bananas, broken into chunks
  • 2 scoops vanilla protein powder
  • ½ cup Florida orange juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 fresh banana, sliced for topping
  • 1 Florida orange, peeled and sliced for topping
  • 1 tablespoon coconut flakes, for topping
  • 2 tablespoons granola, for topping
  • Drizzle of natural almond butter, optional topping

Instructions

  1. Blend the Base: In a blender, combine the frozen bananas, vanilla protein powder, Florida orange juice, and vanilla extract. Blend on high until everything is smooth and creamy.
  2. Taste and Adjust: Pour the smoothie mixture into a bowl and give it a little taste. If you want it a touch sweeter, you can add a drizzle of honey or maple syrup.
  3. Prep Your Toppings: While the base is blending, slice your fresh banana and orange. Depending on your mood, you can cut the banana into rounds or matchsticks for a different look.
  4. Assemble the Bowl: Pour the blended smoothie into a bowl and artfully arrange your sliced banana and orange on top. Sprinkle the coconut flakes and granola for that crunchy texture.
  5. Finish with a drizzle! If you’re using almond butter, drizzle it on top for a finishing touch.

Notes

Serve immediately for the best texture. You can prepare the base the night before and top it fresh in the morning.
