Classic Hamburger Hash

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Prepare the potatoes by washing and dicing them into small cubes.
  2. Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. Add the diced onion and bell pepper to the skillet, cooking until tender, around 4-5 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle in the minced garlic and paprika, cooking until fragrant for about 1-2 minutes.
  5. Introduce the diced potatoes, stirring to coat in all the juices. Season with salt and pepper, then cover the skillet and cook on low for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Check for doneness; ensure the potatoes are fork-tender and nicely browned.
  7. Plate and serve, garnishing with fresh herbs if desired.
