Boeuf Sauté aux Oignons

A hearty, flavor-packed classic French dish featuring beef and caramelized onions.

Ingredients

  • 500g beef (sliced)
  • 2 large onions (sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Toss in the sliced onions and cook for 10-12 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic and stir for another minute.
  4. Brown the sliced beef, seasoning with salt and pepper, for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Splash in the soy sauce and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed before serving.

Notes

Serve with creamy mashed potatoes or over buttered noodles. Can be garnished with fresh parsley.
