Delicious and healthy Apple Spice Energy Bites that bring back cozy kitchen memories, filled with the sweet essence of apples and warm spices.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped apples
  • 1 cup oats or flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup dairy (yogurt or milk)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts or seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare your apples by chopping them into small pieces.
  3. Mix your dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Whisk your wet ingredients in another bowl.
  5. Combine the mixtures and stir until just combined, adding in the chopped apples.
  6. Shape the bites and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool on a wire rack before enjoying.

Notes

These bites can be stored in an airtight container and frozen for up to three months. Adjust sweetness to taste and feel free to swap ingredients as needed.
