Stuffed Mushrooms

A cozy classic stuffed with creamy cheese and savory flavors, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 16 large mushrooms
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the mushrooms by cleaning them with a damp paper towel and removing the stems.
  3. Make the filling by combining chopped mushroom stems, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, and parsley in a mixing bowl.
  4. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
  5. Stuff each mushroom cap with the filling and pack slightly.
  6. Drizzle the tops with olive oil.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Serve on a platter and enjoy!

Try adding spinach, bacon, or sun-dried tomatoes for variations.
