Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Meatballs

Delicious sweet and savory meatballs cooked in a slow cooker, perfect for gatherings and weeknight dinners.

  • 1 pound ground meat (beef, pork, or chicken)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the meatball mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  2. Form the meatballs: Roll the mixture into bite-sized meatballs, about 1-inch in diameter.
  3. Prepare the sauce: In a separate bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar.
  4. Add to slow cooker: Place the meatballs in the slow cooker and pour the sauce over them.
  5. Set the slow cooker: Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
  6. Serve and garnish: Once cooked, serve warm and sprinkle chopped green onions on top.

Notes

For best results, give the slow cooker a gentle stir with about 30 minutes left to keep meatballs coated in sauce.
