Fresh Peach Cobbler Bread

A delightful bread that combines the flavors of peach cobbler with the comforting texture of freshly baked bread.

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan with butter or line it with parchment paper.
  3. Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl: flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients in another bowl: melted butter, milk, vanilla extract, and 1 cup of sliced peaches.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  6. Fold in the remaining peach slices.
  7. Transfer the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Cool the bread in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Serve warm with a pat of butter, whipped cream, or as is. Great for breakfast, brunch, or dessert.
