Monster Cookie Bars

Delightful Monster Cookie Bars that combine sweet and salty flavors with a chewy and crunchy texture, evoking nostalgic memories.

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup peanut butter (creamy or chunky)
  • 1 cup candy-coated chocolates (M&M’s or your favorite brand)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour and oats until well combined.
  4. Beat together the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Mix in the eggs one at a time, followed by the peanut butter.
  6. Slowly add in the flour mixture to the peanut butter mix and stir gently until combined.
  7. Gently fold in your candy-coated chocolates.
  8. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes.
  10. Let the bars cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
  11. Cut them into squares and enjoy!

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Can freeze for future enjoyment.
