A deliciously sunny and nutritious kale mango smoothie that combines creamy mango with fresh greens for a refreshing twist.

  • 1 cup packed kale (fresh or frozen, stems removed)
  • 2 cups frozen mango chunks
  • 1 medium orange (peeled)
  • 1 cup almond milk (or coconut milk)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients by assembling all your items. If using fresh kale, remove the tough stems for a smoother blend.
  2. Add kale and almond milk to the blender to start breaking down the kale.
  3. Blend on high for about 30-60 seconds until completely smooth.
  4. Toss in the frozen mango chunks and peeled orange sections, then blend again until creamy.
  5. Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness or creaminess with honey or additional milk, then blend briefly.
  6. Serve the smoothie in a glass and garnish with a slice of orange or chia seeds if desired.
