Healthy Kale Lemonade

A refreshing and nutritious twist on traditional lemonade, packed with vitamins and flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh kale, chopped
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 2 cups water
  • Ice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your kale by washing the leaves thoroughly, drying them, and chopping into smaller pieces.
  2. Juicing the lemon involves cutting it in half and squeezing the juice into a measuring cup.
  3. Blend kale, lemon juice, honey or maple syrup, and water until smooth.
  4. Strain the mixture if you prefer a smoother drink, or skip for added fiber.
  5. Chill the kale lemonade and serve with ice cubes if desired.
  6. Pour into glasses and garnish with a lemon slice or mint.

Notes

Adjust sweetness and consistency to taste. Experiment with variations by adding berries or mint.
