  • 34 Honeycrisp apples, washed, peeled, and sliced
  • 1 cup rolled oats or all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk or Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter or coconut oil
  • 12 tablespoons sugar (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prep the Honeycrisp apples by washing, peeling, and slicing them into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Mix the apple filling with 1-2 tablespoons of sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large bowl.
  4. Prepare the crumble topping by mixing oats or flour, brown sugar, melted butter or coconut oil, and a pinch of salt in another bowl.
  5. Combine the eggs and milk or yogurt in a small bowl.
  6. Assemble the dish by layering the apple mixture, then the crumble topping in a greased baking dish.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the top is golden and the apples are bubbly.
  8. Serve warm with optional toppings like honey or yogurt.
