Fruit Salsa with Cinnamon Chips

A vibrant and refreshing fruit salsa paired with crispy cinnamon chips, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups mixed fruit (strawberries, kiwi, mango, pineapple), diced
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 6 tortillas (flour or corn)
  • Butter or cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Combine 2 cups of mixed fruit in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Pour 1 tablespoon of lime juice over the fruit.
  3. Drizzle in 1 teaspoon of honey if using, and gently mix with a spatula until combined.
  4. Taste the salsa and adjust sweetness if needed.
  5. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Brush tortillas on both sides with melted butter or cooking spray.
  7. Combine 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and 2 tablespoons of sugar in a small bowl, then sprinkle over both sides of tortillas.
  8. Cut the tortillas into triangles or strips and spread on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  9. Bake for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  10. Serve the fruit salsa in a bowl alongside the warm cinnamon chips.

Notes

You can use any fruits in season or your personal favorites. For a gluten-free option, look for gluten-free tortillas.
