Ingredients

  • 1 green apple, cored and chopped
  • 1 cup kale, stems removed
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients: Start by washing the kale and green apple thoroughly. Core and chop the apple and remove the kale stems.
  2. Add your base: In your blender, pour in the almond milk.
  3. Toss in the greens and fruits: Add the chopped green apple, kale, and banana to the blender.
  4. Sweeten it up: If using honey, drizzle it in and blend until smooth.
  5. Adjust consistency: Add more almond milk if too thick, or toss in ice cubes for a chilled smoothie.
  6. Taste test: Give it a taste and adjust sweetness or add lemon juice if desired.
  7. Serve it up: Pour into a glass or bowl and add your favorite toppings.
