Blueberry Kale Smoothie

A vibrant and nutritious smoothie packed with blueberries and kale, perfect for a wholesome start to your day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup kale, stems removed
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of choice)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients by washing blueberries and removing the stems from the kale.
  2. Slice the banana into manageable chunks.
  3. Add blueberries, kale, banana, and almond milk to a blender. Include honey or maple syrup if desired.
  4. Blend on high until smooth, about 30-60 seconds, scraping down the sides as needed.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness if desired, adding more honey or syrup.
  6. Add chia seeds after blending and stir them in.

Notes

For a creamier smoothie, freeze banana slices beforehand. You can also substitute kale with spinach for a milder flavor.
