Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps

Delicious Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps that are simple to make and perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 head of butter or romaine lettuce
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the ground chicken and cook until browned, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  3. Toss in the diced bell pepper, garlic, and ginger, and sauté for another 3-4 minutes.
  4. Season with soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and lime juice; let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Finish with chopped green onions, then turn off the heat.
  6. Prepare the lettuce wraps by gently separating the leaves.
  7. Fill each lettuce cup with the chicken mixture and garnish with cilantro.
