Kohlrabi Fritters

Delicious and crispy kohlrabi fritters that bring a cozy flavor to your table.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups kohlrabi, grated
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • Fresh herbs (such as parsley or cilantro), chopped

Instructions

  1. Prep the kohlrabi by grating it and wringing out excess moisture.
  2. Mix the grated kohlrabi with flour, parmesan, beaten egg, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat until ready for frying.
  4. Fry spoonfuls of the mixture in the hot oil until golden brown on each side.
  5. Drain the fritters on paper towels and serve hot.

Notes

Try adding different herbs or spices to personalize your fritters! They can also be baked for a healthier option.
