Kale Tonic

A refreshing blend of kale, Fuji apple, cucumber, lemon, and coconut water that boosts your health and invigorates your spirit.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Fuji apple
  • 1/2 cup kale (chopped)
  • 1/2 lemon (juiced)
  • 1/2 cup English cucumber (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup coconut water

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients: Wash all your produce, chop the kale, core and slice the apple, peel and chop the cucumber, and juice the lemon.
  2. Blend it up: In a high-speed blender, combine all ingredients.
  3. Blend until smooth. Add more coconut water if it’s too thick.
  4. Taste test and adjust sweetness with honey or agave, if desired.
  5. Strain if you prefer a smoother drink.
  6. Serve in a glass, add ice and garnish as desired.

Notes

This tonic can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Feel free to experiment with different fruit and vegetable combinations.
