Heavenly Pineapple Fritters

Delicious and crispy pineapple fritters that bring a burst of tropical joy to your kitchen.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 whole Fresh pineapple, sliced into rings
  • 2 cups Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 1 tablespoon Additional cinnamon and sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Prep the Pineapple by slicing it into rings and pressing out excess juice.
  2. Mix the Dry Ingredients in a large bowl: flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Blend the Wet Ingredients in another bowl: whisk together egg and milk.
  4. Combine the wet mixture with the dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Heat the Oil over medium heat in a deep pan.
  6. Dip each pineapple ring into the batter and fry for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  7. Drain the fritters on paper towels and dust with cinnamon sugar.
  8. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Ensure the oil is hot enough before frying to avoid soggy fritters. Fresh pineapple is recommended for the best flavor.
