Creative School Lunch Wraps

Delicious and fun wraps that make school lunches exciting and nutritious for kids and teens.

Ingredients

  • Whole Wheat Tortillas
  • Deli Meats (Turkey, Ham, Roast Beef, Grilled Chicken)
  • Cheese (Cheddar, Mozzarella, Provolone, Vegan Cheese)
  • Fresh Veggies (Lettuce, Carrots, Cucumbers, Bell Peppers)
  • Spreads (Creamy Avocado, Hummus, Ranch Dressing)
  • Fruits (Apples, Grapes, Berries, Bananas)
  • Nuts/Seeds (Almonds, Walnuts, Sunflower Seeds, Pumpkin Seeds)
  • Snacks (Homemade Granola Bars, Popcorn, Veggie Chips)

Instructions

  1. Lay out your tortilla on a clean cutting board.
  2. Spread 2 tablespoons of your chosen spread evenly over the tortilla.
  3. Layer a couple of slices of turkey or ham and add cheese down the center.
  4. Add a handful of fresh veggies on top.
  5. Roll the tortilla from the bottom, tucking in filling as you go.
  6. Pack your wrapped creation in a lunch box alongside a small container of fruit.

Notes

For added excitement, use brightly colored containers and include dips in small containers.
