A delicious vegan shake that combines frozen bananas and Medjool dates for a creamy and sweet treat.

  • 2 medium bananas – sliced and frozen for at least 8 hours
  • 1 cup unsweetened plant-based milk (like almond milk)
  • 45 pitted Medjool dates
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prep the bananas by slicing and freezing them for at least 8 hours.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a blender: frozen banana slices, plant-based milk, Medjool dates, chia seeds, peanut butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Blend on high speed for about 30-60 seconds until smooth and creamy.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more dates if necessary.
  5. Serve immediately in a glass, enjoy with a straw or sip straight from the glass!

Notes

For added flavor, try topping with banana slices or more peanut butter. This shake is highly customizable; try adding cocoa powder for a chocolate twist or frozen berries for a berry delight.
