  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 package slider buns
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Ketchup and mustard for serving
  • Various toppings (lettuce, tomato, etc.)
  • Pumpkin-shaped cookie cutter (for shaping the patties)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by gathering them and preheating your skillet or grill over medium heat.
  2. Mix the ground meat, diced onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl until just combined.
  3. Shape the patties using a pumpkin-shaped cookie cutter, ensuring the meat is packed slightly.
  4. Cook the patties in a greased skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side until the internal temperature reaches 160°F for beef or 165°F for turkey.
  5. Add shredded cheddar cheese on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
  6. Assemble the sliders with the bottom half of the buns, cheesy patties, and your favorite toppings.
  7. Serve them on a festive platter and enjoy with friends and family!

Notes

Feel free to get creative with toppings and sauces. These sliders can also be made vegetarian by using black bean patties.
