Slow Cooker Garlic Parmesan Chicken

A cozy and flavorful dish, perfect for weeknights, featuring tender chicken cooked in a rich garlic Parmesan sauce.

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian herbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prep the chicken by placing it in the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. Season it up with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs over the chicken.
  3. Add the minced garlic on top of the seasoned chicken.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth over everything.
  5. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Cover the slow cooker and set it to low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  7. Once time is up, shred the chicken with two forks and stir back into the sauce.

Notes

For added flavor, feel free to brown the chicken before placing it in the slow cooker. Leftovers taste even better the next day!
