Honeydew Nature’s Gatorade

A refreshing drink made with honeydew, coconut water, and citrus for a hydrating boost on hot days.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh honeydew, cubed
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • Juice of 1 fresh lemon or lime
  • 1/4 teaspoon unrefined mineral salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare your honeydew by cutting it in half and removing the seeds. Slice into cubes.
  2. Add the honeydew cubes, coconut water, lemon or lime juice, and mineral salt to the blender.
  3. Blend on high until smooth, about 30 seconds. Add more coconut water if too thick.
  4. Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness or brightness as needed.
  5. Chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes for a refreshing drink.
  6. Serve over ice, garnished with a slice of lemon or a sprig of mint.

Notes

This drink can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for 2-3 days. Frozen honeydew can be used for a slushier texture.
