Croziflette

A rich and comforting Croziflette dish that brings warmth and joy to the dinner table.

Ingredients

  • 400g Crozets (Square Pasta)
  • 200g Reblochon Cheese
  • 150g Bacon, Diced
  • 1 Onion, Chopped
  • 200ml Crème Fraîche
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • Butter for Greasing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Cook the crozets in boiling salted water for about 10-12 minutes until al dente.
  3. Sauté the diced bacon in a skillet until crispy, then remove and set aside. Cook the chopped onion until soft and golden, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Combine the cooked crozets with the bacon and onions. Stir in the crème fraîche, season with salt and pepper, and mix until well-coated.
  5. Assemble the dish by greasing a baking dish, placing half of the crozet mix, adding sliced Reblochon cheese, topping with remaining crozets, and any leftover cheese.
  6. Bake for about 20-25 minutes until the top is golden and bubbling.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Croziflette can be made ahead of time. Assemble it and store in the fridge, then bake when ready to serve.
