Ultimate Peach Bread Pudding

This Peach Bread Pudding is a heartwarming blend of caramelized peaches and sweet custard, reminiscent of grandma’s kitchen.

  • 6 cups of cubed bread (brioche or challah recommended)
  • 2 cups of whole milk (or non-dairy alternative)
  • 4 large eggs (or flax eggs for vegan)
  • 1 cup of sugar (brown sugar for caramel flavor)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups of fresh peaches, diced
  • 1/4 cup of butter, melted (or coconut oil for dairy-free)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cube the bread into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Whisk together the milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and melted butter until combined.
  4. Fold in the cubed bread and diced peaches into the custard mixture.
  5. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish and pour the mixture in.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
