PF Chang’s Chicken Lettuce Wraps

Delicious chicken lettuce wraps inspired by PF Chang’s, perfect for casual gatherings and family meals.

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 cup water chestnuts, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 head of lettuce (such as Romaine or Butter lettuce)

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet or frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Sauté the ground chicken until browned (about 5-7 minutes).
  3. Add the minced garlic and chopped green onions, cooking until fragrant (1-2 minutes).
  4. Mix in the chopped water chestnuts and cook for about 2 minutes.
  5. Flavor the mixture with hoisin sauce, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Let simmer for a few minutes.
  6. Taste the filling and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
  7. Prepare the lettuce leaves by rinsing them and patting them dry.
  8. Fill the lettuce leaves with the chicken mixture and serve.

Notes

Customize your wraps with additional toppings like sesame seeds or chopped cilantro. Leftover filling can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days.
