PF Chang’s Chicken Lettuce Wraps

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup water chestnuts, chopped
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 head of butter or iceberg lettuce

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the ground chicken to the skillet and cook until it’s no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Toss in the chopped water chestnuts and green onions, sautéing for about 2 minutes.
  4. Pour in the hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil, stirring everything together for about 3 minutes.
  5. Remove the skillet from the heat to assemble.
  6. Take a lettuce leaf and fill it with a generous spoonful of the chicken mixture, wrapping it up like a present.

Notes

Serve with extra sauce for dipping. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Leftovers can be reheated for delicious meals the next day.
