Can-Do Canned Peaches

A simple and delightful recipe for preserving fresh peaches in juice, evoking sweet memories and sunny days.

Ingredients

  • Fresh Peaches
  • Water
  • Sugar
  • Lemon Juice

Instructions

  1. Prepare your peaches by washing them under running water and patting them dry. Slice in half and remove the pits.
  2. Make the peach juice by combining water, sugar, and lemon juice in a saucepan. Heat until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Pack the sliced peaches into sterilized canning jars, leaving half an inch of headspace, and pour warm syrup over them.
  4. Seal the jars, wipe the rims, and process them in a boiling water bath for about 20 minutes.
  5. Cool the jars completely before storing them in a cool, dark place.

Notes
