Avalanche Cookies

Deliciously sweet and chewy cookies filled with chocolate chips and marshmallows, perfect for nostalgic baking moments.

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups quick oats
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix together the softened butter and peanut butter until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Add both sugars until well combined, then add the eggs and vanilla extract. Beat until fluffy.
  4. Blend the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl, then incorporate into wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in the oats, chocolate chips, and marshmallows gently.
  6. Scoop heaping spoonfuls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spaced 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  8. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Feel free to adjust ingredients to suit dietary needs or preferences. Chill the dough if cookies spread too much.
