Apple Cinnamon Breakfast Bread

A warm and inviting breakfast bread with the delightful flavors of apples and cinnamon, perfect for cozy mornings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of flour or oats
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup of milk or yogurt
  • 2 cups of diced apples
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup of sweetener (sugar, honey, or maple syrup)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl: flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Combine the wet ingredients in another bowl: beat the eggs, and then add milk (or yogurt) and sweetener.
  4. Combine the wet and dry mixtures, stirring gently to avoid over-mixing.
  5. Fold in the diced apples until evenly distributed.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  7. Bake for about 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool for 10-15 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Serve warm with butter, or try toasted with honey or a side of fresh fruit.
