Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos

Crispy shrimp tacos drizzled with a spicy bang bang sauce, topped with fresh slaw and cilantro.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup slaw mix
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small tortillas
  • Cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Shrimp
  2. Season the shrimp with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat the shrimp with cornstarch for extra crispiness if desired.
  4. Cook the Shrimp
  5. Heat enough oil in a skillet over medium-high heat to coat the bottom.
  6. Fry the shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Remove the shrimp and drain on paper towels.
  8. Prepare the Bang Bang Sauce
  9. Mix the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha in a bowl.
  10. Assemble the Tacos
  11. Heat the tortillas in a dry skillet for about 30 seconds on each side.
  12. Layer slaw mix, crispy shrimp, and spicy sauce on each tortilla.
  13. Garnish with cilantro and serve.

Notes

For a fun taco bar, serve with various toppings and lime wedges.
