Avalanche Cookies

Delightful cookies combining rice cereal, peanut butter, and chocolate for a sweet and nostalgic treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rice cereal
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace by clearing your countertop.
  2. Melt the peanut butter and half of both the milk chocolate and white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl.
  3. Combine your powdered sugar and vanilla extract to the melted mixture.
  4. Mix in the rice cereal carefully, folding gently.
  5. Form the cookies by scooping the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Finish with melted chocolate by drizzling it over the cookie mounds.
  7. Chill the tray in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to set.

Notes

Cookies can also be served with hot cocoa or milk. Add a dusting of powdered sugar for a special touch.
