Apple Cinnamon Date Smoothie

A delightful smoothie that combines the sweetness of apples and dates with comforting notes of cinnamon, perfect for any time of the year.

  • 2 your favorite kind of apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream, or amount to taste
  • 4 large Medjool dates, about 1/4 cup, pitted
  • 1 cup ice
  • 3/41 cup milk, or amount to taste
  • Apple wedge(s), optional for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Prep your apples: Start by peeling, coring, and slicing your apples. Save a slice for your garnish if you’re feeling cheeky!
  2. Blend it up: Add the sliced apples into your blender along with the pitted Medjool dates, cinnamon, and ice. Add the ice cream or yogurt if using.
  3. Pour in the milk: Begin with 3/4 cup of milk, then blend! Adjust the milk until you reach your desired consistency.
  4. Taste test: Give your smoothie a taste. Add an extra date or a splash of honey if you prefer it sweeter.
  5. Blend again: Blend until everything is smooth and creamy; ensure no chunks remain.
  6. Serve up the love: Pour your smoothie into a glass and garnish with apple wedges if desired.
