Ingredients

  • 1 Lemon (juiced)
  • 2 tsp Grated Ginger
  • 4 Cups Filtered Water
  • Ice (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Start by rolling the lemon on your countertop. This helps release the juices. Cut it in half and juice it into a measuring cup.
  2. Grab your fresh ginger and peel it using the edge of a spoon or a vegetable peeler. Then, take a grater and shred about 2 teaspoons.
  3. In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and grated ginger. Add the 4 cups of filtered water. Stir gently until combined.
  4. Fill a glass with some ice if desired, and pour in the detox water. Garnish with a slice of lemon or a sprig of mint.

Notes

Feel free to adjust ingredients to your taste. If too tart, add a teaspoon of honey or agave nectar.
