Grilled Chicken Sandwich

A flavorful and nostalgic Grilled Chicken Sandwich that brings back memories of summer afternoons and family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices of bread
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato slices
  • Mayonnaise or your favorite sauce

Instructions

  1. Start by patting the chicken breasts dry using a paper towel.
  2. Combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a small bowl and rub it all over the chicken breasts.
  3. Preheat your grill (or grill pan) to medium-high heat.
  4. Place the chicken breasts on the grill and cook undisturbed for 6-7 minutes. Flip and grill for an additional 5-7 minutes until fully cooked.
  5. While the chicken cooks, toast your bread for 1-2 minutes on the grill.
  6. Once the chicken is done, let it rest, then slice it thickly.
  7. Spread mayonnaise on one slice of toasted bread, then layer lettuce, sliced chicken, and tomatoes. Top with another slice of bread.
  8. Cut your sandwich in half and serve it with a smile.
