Crockpot BBQ Meatballs

Delicious slow-cooked meatballs in BBQ sauce, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix the meatball ingredients in a large mixing bowl until just combined.
  2. Form the mixture into bite-sized meatballs, about 1-2 inches in diameter.
  3. Brown the meatballs in a skillet for a few minutes on medium-high heat to enhance flavor (optional).
  4. Assemble the meatballs in the Crockpot and pour the barbecue sauce over them.
  5. Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

These meatballs can be made ahead of time and reheat well. For added flavor, consider garnishing with fresh herbs.
